Mini Dress Me

The CLEAR trend at the recent MTV Movie Awards (which I did not watch, and I’m glad because I hear it was excruciatingly boring – minus the Paris jab by Sarah Silverman..ouch! *quiet chuckle*) But I digress. Where was I? Oh yes. The major trend at the award show was the mini dress! Woo hoo!

Now I’ve always been a thin/skinny girl. Which is NOT a good thing. Even now when its supposedly good to be thin, I’m still not liking it. I even thought after giving birth to my son I’d keep some fat, which I did, but um.. in the wrong places. Dammit. I’d love to have Halle Berry’s body. Now THAT would be perfect…but I digress again.. Okay, so yeah, I never ever wore skirts or shorts during my elementary/Junior High school years because I was so so so embarrassed at how skinny my legs were. I think I got over it in High School because, well, I refused to suffer in the summertime when it was 90+ degrees outside. And, I just didn’t care what people thought anymore.

All that just to say, that I love my skinny twigs, I embrace them, and you know what? I will show them off in a mini-dress this summer! No matter the size, length of your legs, you should too. Be fantabulous! Check out what some of the celebs wore at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards:
