New Mommy Ego Booster

Remember those days when you’d be in your Mom’s closet/jewelry box/make-up bag trying on everything in sight? Well just because you were like 6 when you last did that, doesn’t mean you can’t do it now in your 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. My girlfriends and I had a make-over Day two days ago and it was the BEST THING EVER. Out of the 5 of us that were there, 2 of us (myself included) are brand new first time Moms. My friend Lili (who is a freelance make-up artist) made us all up and we took loads of pictures. Supermodels for a day. Now, what new mother doesn’t need that?!

A beauty product that Lili used that I wanted to talk about is from Smashbox Cosmetics, Photo Finish Foundation Primer . Just as you would put primer on the walls of a room before painting, you should prime your face before applying make-up. It’s that simple.

It’s a bit pricey at $36.00 USD for less than 1 oz. per bottle (0.93oz to be exact), but if you use it properly and as suggested it’ll be well worth it.

Now, can I talk about how cool this product is? I was reluctant at first when I saw the product in the bottle because of how greasy it APPEARED to be, but it wasn’t at all. It was smooth to apply and did not feel oily to the touch. Check out how smooth my face looked!

Yes, true, I’m only 30 yrs old, but it’s NEVER too early to smooth out lines and/or future wrinkles on my face! Trust!
