Salt-N-Pepa Take Over Wendy’s Radio Spot

I’ve been missing Wendy Williams like crazy since she abandoned her radio gig for a shot at TV stardom (Note to Wendy: I don’t like you as much on TV as I do on the radio). My work day is a lot more boring without the shock jock’s cackling and a steady stream of “How you doin’s” into my headphones, and with Wendy gone I’d pretty much resigned to having ho-hum, radio-free afternoons.

Earlier this week, however, I tuned into WBLS, Wendy’s former radio home in New York City, and heard two familiar voices. To my surprise, legendary hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa have taken over the Queen of All Media’s 2 to 6 afternoon time slot. Nice girl Cheryl “Salt” Wray and naughty girl Sandra “Pepa” Denton’s show, “Let’s Talk About It,” will air the rest of this week on WBLS, and will hopefully become a permanent replacement for “The Wendy Williams Experience.”
Like Wendy, Cheryl and Sandy offer girl-friendly advice to callers agonizing over everything from skinny jeans to baby mama drama.
