Can Ashanti Fill Dorothy’s Red Shoes?

Ashanti is starring as Dorothy in a new, off-Broadway revival of “The Wiz.” The R&B-pop princess has some big shoes to fill. Tiny dynamo Stephanie Mills originated the role on Broadway and superstar Diana Ross revised the part in the film version — based on the Judy Garland classic “The Wizard of Oz.”
Do you think Ashanti will ease on down the road with ease?
