Hot Pick: Women’s Work Skechers Shape-Ups

During a weekend visit to my local Macy’s, I spotted a new style of Skechers Shape-Ups.  The shoes claim to tone your muscles and promote healthy weight loss, and based on all the success stories Hot Mama Daily readers have shared regarding the fitness shoes, I had to let you know about the latest color and style.
This “Women’s Work” style ($100 at Macy’s; $115 on Skechers.com) in black reminds me of old-school Reebok sneakers and is more ideal for the cold weather than the “Sleek Fit” Mary Jane style I tested over the summer.

This week, I’m starting a two-week “Hot Mama Daily Diva Diet and Fitness Challenge” (I’ll post on the yoga classes I take and diet changes I make) and I’m planning to work any and all angles to shed some pounds before summer officially starts.

Do Skechers’ Shape-Ups Really Work?

In April I wrote about Skechers’ “Shape-Ups,” fitness shoes that claim to promote weight loss, tone your muscles, and improve your posture without going to the gym.  
To me it was a no-brainer. With a promise like that, I needed a pair ASAP. Luckily, the helpful folks at Skechers sent me the Mary-Jane style in black (pictured in tan to the right) to try out.
