Jennifer Hudson~ Galaxies Away… by Sierra!

To say that 2008 has been a turbulent year for Jennifer Hudson would be a gross understatement. First there was the good news that she and former “I Love New York 2″ contestant David Otunga were engaged after a whirlwind romance. Then the unthinkable news of the senseless murders of Jennifer’s mother, younger brother, and 7-year-old nephew in October. Now that Jennifer’s estranged brother-in-law has been formally charged with the murders, it appears that justice will prevail. But the pain must still be unbearable.

I wasn’t sure when or if I would address Jennifer’s family tragedy here on Hot Mama Daily, however, during the holiday season spending time with family and loved ones is a blessing. So I want to extend my prayers and well wishes that the New Year give this talented singer and actress the strength to heal.  And may her family sleep in heavenly peace.

Ironically, “Spotlight” was the feel-good single of the year, and Jennifer’s self-titled debut recently received a Grammy award nomination for “Best R&B Album.”
