Then Rihanna came out with her new image and just had me salivating at the joy that was her hair (the first cut, though the new cut is growing on me).

My fear is always, what if I HATE it???? And if I don’t like it, how am I going to survive the in-between grow out phase? What if short is too high maintainance? What if my head is too big for a short style? Will I have to relax my hair (been au natural for 12 years!) And on and on my list goes. So I decided to do something about it.

Ever wanted to know what your hair would look like with a Hollywood celebrity style? Me too. And I got to find out. Yes, yes yes, I get to play guinea pig and the thousands of you that read this blog daily (did I mention I love y’all for that!?! I do!! Thank you!! *muah!*) and I’ll put myself on display for the entire planet to see.

I used InStyle Magazine’s Hollywood Hair Virtual Makeover. It was so easy, you guys. I just uploaded pic (you need to register to do this though) and the you play around with all the different styles.

It was fun though I have to admit… Ready to see? Okay, here goes:

But if you think about the idea behind this purse, it’s quite clever.

How many times have you been to the club and didn’t feel like bringing a purse with you? *Raises hand*

How many times have you been to a party and was the one out of your entire crew of girlfriends with the largest handbag there, so all your friends who DIDN’T bring a purse, begged you to put their ___________ (lipstick, cell, mirror, keys, ID, etc, etc, you fill in the blank) in your bag? *Raises hand*

How many times have you been annoyed while on the dancefloor because your purse kept bumping into the person dancing next to you (since you left it hanging from your shoulder)? *Raises hand*

And how many times have you been annoyed at not being able to shake it like Beyoncé on the dancefloor because you were too busy trying to keep an eye on your clutch, that you left on a chair/bench/table/hidden under a coat? *Raises hand*

Mind you, I am 9 months post-baby and um…I dunno…though I’d SURE love to squeeze into a dress like this, I’m not sure I could pull it off. Le sigh…

Oh to have oodles of money and be able to spit a baby out and rock a bandage dress right after like Melanie Brown aka Mel B. seems to have done (she’s also a Herve Leger repeat offender):

People Magazine’s Off The Rack blog discussed Nicole Richie’s maternity fashion today and after I saw the pic of her (on the right) with her fabulous patent leather red (possibly Louboutin?) high heels, a question popped in my head to ask you all. Hence the post title, ‘High Heels While Pregnant? Yay or Nay?’

Personally, I didn’t wear high heels while I was pregnant only because I didn’t like the ‘vibration sensation’ that the heels gave my belly. Do you know what I mean? Like everytime I took a step, my belly jiggled–and I don’t mean an extra flab jiggle, I mean a solid vibration sorta shake. Meh, anyway, it was just bizarre so I didn’t bother with ‘em. I stuck with stylish flats and/or kitten heels for work or after work. Naturally, I kept my tops cute while squuuuezing into low, low cut skinny jeans and/or maternity pants (low cut as to not interfere with my belly, feel me?). I was in such denial regarding maternity wear, that I didn’t purchase my first pair of official maternity pants/jeans until I was like 7 months. I know, I know… I’m a nut case.

Anyway, go ‘head and vote. It’d be interesting to see what y’all think:
