Hey everyone! Yes, yes I am still alive! Summer is on where I live in full force so I’ve actually been outdoors instead of in front of my Macbook (I know! Crazy, right?!). And for the past few days my little one has been under the weather, and since I can never stop giving my booboo kisses, I of course now, am under the weather too. *Le sighhhh*
So here I am. Missed me? Tee hee! Aw, I miss you all too. But I’m back in effect and ready to talk fashion, so let’s get started!
I recently had a girl’s night out (well needed!) with my lovely best buddies a few weeks ago and my cousin, Jo, rocked the hell out of a strapless black short jumpsuit:

I love how she dressed it up with gold sandals. Divine.
So today I was on one of my favorite sites, The Fashion Spot, and on the home page I noticed they have a short feature on the latest jumpsuit trend. Nice! So why not talk about ‘em?
The idea of a short jumpsuit can be a bit intimidating. As intimidating as a short dress or skirt. But don’t fret. There are so many styles to choose from (casual, dressy, sporty) that you can wear any footwear with them. You don’t have to do a high heel sandal (as Jo did to dress hers up). You can put on some gladiators, grab your favorite clutch and call it a day.
Here’re some cute ones I ran into:

- Tie Waist Playsuit – £28.00, appx. $60.00 USD (TopShop)
- Bubble Short Playsuit – £ 35.00, appx. $70.00 (TopShop)
- Twill Linen Puff-Sleeved Jumpsuit – $119.00 USD (bebe)
- One-piece suit FSC LAGUNA – $19.99 USD (Mango)
- ‘Twix’ jumpsuit – £39.00, appx. $80.00 USD (MotelRocks)
- ‘Heroes’ jumpsuit – £25.00, appx. $50.00 USD (MotelRocks)
So, tell me… will YOU be rocking a jumpsuit this summer?

pas, I love # 4, and yes would deff rock it only if my legs were not so skinny, I swear i have the worst chicken legs…lol…If my legs were thicker Oh yes!!!
hey Dulce! Yeah, #4 is great and sporty. I TOTALLY understand the chicken legs thing b/c I’ve had ‘em all my life (and still do!) A trick I use to give the illusion of fuller calves whenever I wear something short is to wear *flat* dressy or casual sandals. ‘Cuz when you wear a high heel it kinda stretches your leg muscles making the leg/calf look slimmer.
Girl, get out there and rock that jumpsuit!!
Pas,
Thanks for the info, I will try that although Im such a high heel
chic…ahhhh…i have to keep telling myself change is good….
=)
Do you wear short jumpsuits with flats or heels?
I love lovelove #2. I wish that these were non-european stores though because I would so be rocking this tonight.
