AVON Super Full Mascara

Time and again I think the most sought after makeup product is a fantastic mascara. One that does what it claims it does. Am I right?

So I see the commercial for AVON’s newest product, their Super Full Mascara. I’m intrigued as it claims to use a new clean-build brush that will deliver up to 5 times fuller lashes. I’m just about out of my current mascara, so I decide I want to give this one a try.

I put a call into my AVON representative, the lovely Michele Parzych, and ask if she could bring one over to me. She gladly obliges (thank you Michele) and I quickly take a peak to see exactly what a “clean-build” brush looks like. As you can see from the picture above, there are no flimsy bristles, it is just short, flexible, molded plastic. AVON’s description of this brush says it works with an anti-static formula that combs, separates and is flake-proof.

All I can tell you is WOW. Actually, wow doesn’t even come close to describing it. Amazing is a much better word. Without a doubt, I am in love with this new mascara. Not only did it work like a brush and most definitely separate my lashes, their were absolutely 100% no clumps (which is always hard to achieve) and the coverage was amazing. I had lashes I didn’t even know were there! My lashes don’t look overdone, they just look simply amazing. Like the kind of lashes you see in your favorite beauty magazines that you know are photoshopped. My lashes look that good.

I chose black as my color, but AVON also offers this mascara in brown, brown-black and navy. If you are in search of the perfect mascara, I think I found it for you.

Thank you to Michele for being willing to submit this product for review. If you want to pick up this amazing mascara, please consider purchasing it through Michele’s website.

OOhhh!! Sign me up!! How much is it???

    Elke

ps how quick is your shipping from Avon? Would love a new avon girl, my orders take over a month to get to me…

  2. Shannon says:

I believe it is $4 and change right now–on sale. Normally I believe it is around $8. My AVON lady is local; just 15 minutes from me and she delivered it to me same day. I think if you order direct from her site, AVON ships direct to you. They have a special on shipping right now–just $3. Not bad!

Michele is the best I tell you! I guess I am lucky that she doesn’t make me wait a month! ;)

  3. Quynh says:

Does the brush get clumpy the more you use it?
How would you compare this to the cover girl lash blast?

  4. Shannon says:

The brush heads are completely different. AVON’s is longer where CoverGirl’s is long and wide. CG’s is just a really big wand overall.

from your review, this looks like a standout product. i don’t get why avon gets such a bad rap. i was reading this one little article making fun of patrick dempsey for going out with an avon MA Jillian Dempsey. how do you feel about avon?

  6. Julie says:

Yoyosushi is right on. Avon gets a bad rap from makeup snobs, but their products are so, so good! I especially love their Skin So Soft lotions, it’s so creamy but not greasy, and you just can’t beat the price.

  7. Julie says:

… and I forgot to mention, one of my good friends is an Avon lady ;) So I’ll have to ask her opinion about the Super full mascara.

  8. Debbie says:

I couple of my friends told me about this so i tried it. Suprisingly it lived up to it’s claim. I’m a mascara girl, so i’ve tried many to only find a few favorites. I wasn’t sure what to expect since i never have tried an Avon mascara. It was easy and one stroke gives me the application i want evenly throughout all my lashes. It adds length and volume. It also doesn’t smudge which is a plus. I recommend this product as well.

For some reason I’ve never really trusted Avon’s products. But I do own their Mark Flip For It Palette in New York. It’s not that bad, but certainly not superior.

  11. nice7472 says:
