Do you remember glam but edgy makeup line Hard Candy? I sure do…in fact, my very first high-end makeup splurge was one of their killer nail colors (in the original packaging below).

There’s been a lot of speculation in the blogosphere in the past few months about the brand – was it going out of business? I’m pleased to report, NO! Hard Candy is ready for a BIG comeback, this time as a Wal-Mart exclusive.
Tonight, I had the opportunity to check out the collection at a media-only event. Hard Candy’s back with a new pink, white and black logo and branding and a GINORMOUS assortment of products for eye, lip, cheeks, nail and body.
First impressions? It’s young, it’s fun and if you love COLOR (in all caps), it’s definitely a collection you’ll love!
Here are a few images of the NEW Hard Candy products – mascaras, lippies and nail polishes. As you can see, there’s a wide variety of products in each category:

All products will retail for $6-10.
I’ll be reviewing some of the products individually in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

WTF?!!! Why walmart? Now we will never know the quality of what’s in the bottle! I love hard candy but walmart is a bad look for progression. You just don’t get quality products from a place that treats their employees like shit and makes hella $$$
Oh, I love Hard Candy. Like you, I splurged on their nail polishes back in the day. I’m glad they are staying afloat.
I’m wondering whether they’d come to Walmart Canada
Good for them! Even if I don’t love Wal-Mart, I know that a lot of people can’t afford to shop at Sephora. This is the perfect way to reach the masses and offer a great product at a reasonable price. Great post!
YESSS I’m so excited, I LOVE Hard Candy products! Today I saw some Hard Candy lip glosses being sold at Marshalls for only $2. I bought every single one of them because I thought they were gone for good! Anyways the new products look absolutely amazing, I can’t wait to get my hands on them. I don’t really like using mascara but I don’t think I will be able to resist the cute packaging. The only thing I’m upset about is the fact that they’re going to be sold at Walmart. I’m not a huge fan of that store and I never shop there…but oh well looks like I will be going there soon. Thanks for posting this :)
