Benefit Cosmetics 24K Gold Lip Gloss

Along with their Silky Finish Lipstick, Benefit sent me their 24K Gold Lip Gloss to take for a spin. Metallics are in they say, and I am all about the gloss–what a perfect combination!
The gloss itself is sheer with tons of specs of gold. Worn alone, your lips sparkle, worn over your favorite lipstick, it adds another dimension of color. I tried it over several lipsticks, even my MAC Rush Metal Lipsticks that are gold tinged and the look was glamorous.
The gloss wasn’t tacky, sticky or thick-feeling. Despite all of the gold flecs, I couldn’t feel them. Just a great gold colored gloss and a perfect way to keep your face up to date with the fall fashion and beauty trends.
Have you used 24K Gold Lip Gloss?
I bought the lipstick instead – I have gold lipglosses, but didn’t have a true gold lipstick. I really like the lipstick – it’s soft and moisturizing and still leaves your lips a lustrous gold.
Glittering lips always look great when balanced with glowing, dramatic eye make up. Can’t wait to get my hands on this for those autumnal parties that I have on my calendar.
I love gold lip gloss, and this one is awesome, as you said you cannot feel the gold in it – I hate when a beautiful sparkly lip gloss feels crunchy!
This is so good when you want to do that bronzed goddes editorial look. Of course that look is busted out maybe twice a year, but it’s still hot!
I bet they used this on Beyonce in the Upgrade U video. I love golden things.
i wish i could pull off gold on my lips, every shade of gold looks yellow on me… not a pretty lip color lol
