Oh fabulous jane iredale. I recieved her Cream to Powder Eyeliner in Black Plus, which is quite nice. It has 3 colors: Black, a greyish blue and a slate color.
Application is super easy, as you don’t have to wet your brush to apply them. Actually, I sometimes even use my finger to give my eyes that smokey look to them. The cream glides on smooth and quickly turns to powder. No muss, no fuss…just the way I like it.
While I do love pencil liners, I’m starting to think this is a bit easier to use. Have any of you used it? What do you think of it?

I’ve been a Bobby Brown and Chanel fan for years but these eye products look fabulous.
Since the time you wrote this review, did this cream to powder eye liner dry up / crack in the package as many cream eye liners do? ~Thanks.
Hi Shauna-Lee, Sorry that its taken me so long to answer–no, the cream eyeliner hasn’t cracked at all.
I love doing liner with a brush SO much more than using a pencil. The pencil always looks harsh on me, but these colors look like they’d be soft and pretty on my hazel eyes.
I usually use liner. I think it is easier because the product is right there, no need to tap the excess off. However, I have never tried using a brush, so I can’t knock it just yet!
Everybody swears by the mac 219 brush for lining eyes, so i’m thinking that would be the best bet.
To be honest, I’m not a big fan of eyeliner, but this one is pretty good. I agree with you Shannon, the eyeliner does glide on with a creamy consistency.
This does look hella easy to use, *filing it away for later use*
Oh and the MAC 219 is amazing! There’s a great dupe of it that comes w/ L’Oreal HIP’s cream eyeliners, it’s a little hard but it gets the job done.
Nothing beats the 219. Eyebrows, liner, you name it, the 219 does it. ;)
The colors look a little dark to me…but I love the concept of cream to powder. Maybe I could use it for a smoky eye like you suggested.
i love the cream to powder eyeliner. It is so much easier to use than the regular eye liner pencils and liquid.
My friend sells me all of my Jane products and I talked to her about the liquid to powder trios because they looked a little dry to me when I first saw them. My friend explained that they do not have any bonding agents in them so that is why they appear that way and it’s ok to add water to them because you will not get bacteria growth. So if they do appear a little dry or crack that is ok as far as mineral products go. I hope this helps.
Hi there
You can actually use Jane Iredales Facial spritzers to rehydrate your cream to powder liners, D2o – Pom Mist – Balance, will all work!
