This is lipstick my friends. Not just any lipstick, either. I’ve been wearing glosses for so long, I forgot what it was like to feel more than just pretty in a good lipstick.

I received jane iredale’s PureMoist LipColour in Carmen. The color looked great, and somehow even made my lips appear fuller (are my eyes playing tricks on me?) What I loved most though, was that this lipstick was so silky smooth and never feathered. PureMoist LipColour contains ingredients to moisturize your lips, something other lipsticks are definitely lacking. Even after the color has worn off, my lips feel amazingly soft.

I also received the PurePressed Blush in Barely Rose, which simply highlighted my cheeks giving me a more natural hint of color. It was so pretty and the pigment was wonderful, so I only had to use a small amount to achieve a fresh look.

That’s how I feel lately! Since I’ve been wearing fab lipsticks recently, I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror and I’m like, “Wow, you have lips! Pretty colored ones!”

  2. Sue says:

Jane Iredale is a fabulous line. I have the pressed foundation, eyeshadows, lipsticks, blush, you name it — and they’re all winners!

  3. The Jane Iredale lipstick is great. But I also like the Pressed powder. It has great coverage and lasts a long time!

the only thing about lipsticks is that im so paranoid of getting it on something. however, catching a glimpse of a beautiful berry lip is sure worth it!

  5. Kristen says:

SPF! SPF! SPF! And in pretty makeup? All in one?! I’m so amazed that in this day and age people still are obsessed with sun protection. ALL makeup should be required to have it!

  6. D'Anne says:

Jane Iredales Lipsticks, I only have one problem with them, they are way way tooo soft, when I am applying the lip colour to my lips, the lipstick itself is smooshing down. I think it would be better in a pallett or something else.

  7. Molly says:

    I agree with Sue 110%

Nice way to sum it all up Sue! I say that because I’ve left some long posts about Jane’s products. None of her products have ever disappointed me ever and that’s impressive!

  1. [...] Loved the color of both of these glosses. The pink is really subtle with such a super fabulous shine. The peppermint reminds me of candy canes. The Cinnamon Shine was red and looked great alone and I even put it over my Jane Iredale lipstick, which really gave it a whole new dimension. Cinnamon Shine’s scent reminds me of the cinnamon gum Big Red. [...]
