Korres Jasmine Eye Makeup Remover

KorresjasmineyemakeupremoverI think I have found the Holy Grail of makeup removers. I really hadn’t ventured on past my MK Oil-free Makeup remover and Neutrogena Oil-free makeup remover. I had given up hope that there really was a true non-greasy feeling makeup remover out there. They may be oil-free, but I hate the aloe vera “oil slick” feeling after using them.

So I was sent Korres Jasmine Eye Makeup Remover and told it was oil-free. I didn’t have high hopes for it if I am being honest, but willing to to give it a shot.

How Korres describes this product:

A herbal lotion that removes makeup and waterproof mascara without irritating the delicate eye area. Wheat proteins and Provitamin B5 moisturize the skin and consitutes an excellent eyelash strengthener. Jasmine, Cucumber and Calendula offer combined soothing and refreshing action.

First impression when I received this product? “Holy smokes this is a huge bottle!” It is bigger than any other makeup remover I have seen lately. The Jasmine Eye Makeup Remover is 6.76 fl.oz. I can tell that it will last a good long time. It also has a plastic covering with a small hole to prevent spilling and over doing it when putting it on your cotton pad. That’s a huge plus for a clumsy person like myself.

There really isn’t a scent to this makeup remover, maybe just slighty in the bottle, but when applying it I didn’t notice it. You don’t need very much to remove your makeup and it came right off without any effort.

The best part? The most exciting thing of all? There was no oily residue AT ALL. I couldn’t believe it. I decided to not only use it on my eyes, but to remove the makeup on my face, as well. Again, my face dried quickly and there was no slickness or any type of residue left behind. I was sold.

I’m so excited to finally use a makeup remover that not only says it is oil-free, but makes my skin feel that way as well.

Have you used Korres Jasmine Eye Makeup Remover? What did you think?

  1. I’ve never heard of the stuff your talking about:)but I can’t live without my Lancome Bi-Facial eye makeup remover. It’s like taking off your makeup with water, it’s so gentle. And it removes everything. I LOVE it:)

This product sounds great, I think I will try it out! I find it hard to imagine it leaves no residue.

Sandra–I kid you not. ;) I wouldn’t even consider calling something the holy grail unless it was truly worthy.

I always look to try new things, but I really believe I have found the makeup remover that I will use from now on in korres.

wow. after reading your review, i went to search it on two of oz’s cosmetics shops’ websites, and found it here: http://www.kitcosmetics.com/whatsatkit.htm though they don’t have descriptions other than for the product brands. now that i’ve moved to canberra it’s so annoying cos i have to go all the way to sydney if i want to get the stuff from Kit =(

the other website didn’t have it but i’m sure you’d love to look through, if you haven’t already =) http://www.meccacosmetica.com.au

    enjoy!

does it make your skin feel normal or dry? cus i find that if i get the squeaky feeling after, my skin tends to overcompensate and becomes even oiler.

  6. Kristen says:

I like how it has vitamins to help your skin and that it claims to take off waterproof mascara, I always have issues with that.

  7. Trudi S. says:

I’d love to have the scent of jasmine on my eyelids. Just kidding. The product sounds really good since it doesn’t dry out your skin. I’ve had that problem with a lot of eye makeup removers.

  8. Ashley Samantha says:

Jasmine is one of my favorite scents, this seems so soothing and good for you how ccould I resist!
