Luscious Cosmetics Social Butterfly Eye Velvets & Lip Polish
I had never heard about Luscious Cosmetics until I was recently sent a few of their products. One of the products was their Social Butterfly Eye Velvets. This eyeshadow isn’t available until the Fall, but it’s something you’ll want to pick up when it hits the shelves.
My Social Butterfly Eye Velvet came in Malibu, which is a pretty shimmery soft pink. It has a butterfly imprinted in the shadow and comes in an adorable butterfly tin. This soft pink was the perfect color to make my hazel eyes pop and I could easily work it into the color palettes I use everyday. I love the shimmer and the long lasting wear of the pigment.
I also received a Lip Polish in Rio. Looking on the Luscious Cosmetics website, I can’t seem to find a link to this product, which could mean that it, too, is not yet available. Rio is a peach/pink color with a lot of very fine shimmer added. The applicator is a wand mimicing a nail polish brush. I personally loved this color on me, however my mom and husband did not (but what do they know?? ;) ) The Lip Polish seemed to have a tangerine fragrance, although I see no mention of it in the ingredients.

The Social Butterfly Velvet in Hermosa is so full of shimmer. How fun! Seems like they’re targeting younger folks with this packaging. Still, it’s cute.
