MAC Cosmetics Alexander McQueen Collection

Backstage at Alexander McQueen Fall ’07, the look was bold with flashes of unexpected colour. M·A·C artists, under lead artist, Terry Barber, contrasted the dark yet dynamic forms of McQueen’s collection with looks in which the eyes played the diva-warrior role. Setting ultra-pale, lightly pearled lips against eyes shadowed lid-to-brow in blue and chartreuse, lined in the classic “cat’s eye” of Egyptian royalty, the look became
uncompromisingly strong and graphic. Intriguing in tone, bewitching in application, this is a collection that veers
ever so colourfully to the dark side.

This collection was so underrated, especially the eyeshadows. I don’t think it had enough products, perhaps then it would’ve been more successful.
I think people get scared off when they see these are the pictures for the collection. It makes the collection look pretty theatrical. I also think more products would have made a bigger splash.
However, their MASQUE lipstick has been shown to be quite popular! I see a lot of beauty blogs mentioning it in their Face of the Day.
I love using it as a base or just to wear alone!
Masque has gotten itself quite the following, it’s a stunning color I like it alot.
the collection was very cool, but they should have added much more, it was a very small collection for all the hype
I really didn’t care for the McQueen collection. It seemed to be trying too hard to pull disparate colors together. In and of themselves, many of the shades seemed pretty enough, but it seemed to be a weird collection. Plus, that blue just seemed way too cold of a shade to be an eyeshadow. I don’t know anyone who was like !!!!! about it.
