i called my local M.A.C store and the lashes are affordable, for $12.00 and they look real.. why the heck not.

I only use falsies when I’m going for a SUUUUPER dramatic look. I’ve seen my friends get MAC makeovers which included false lashes, and it can be a really cool, very eye-opening look.

To be honest, though, as much as I [heart] MAC, I couldn’t see paying so much $$$ for false lashes.

I like the idea of the clear band. In the past the tell tale application point has always been the problem, and why I saved fakies for Halloween only.

I fancy #30, the individual lashes. They are just so perfect for when you need just a *little* extra oomph, especially putting them on your outer edges. I’ve read that Eva Longoria does this sometimes for the winged look she has.

I have contacts and when I wear falsies, I just hope for the best. Usually it doesn’t bother me. Sorry of that wasn’t very helpful =/ But I don’t think it should get you any problems.

I love how the falsies look on Hayden Panetierre. It really makes her eyes look smokey and fierce! I finally realized that in order to have smokey eyes like the stars, you gotta use falsies.

I was just at a MAC counter recently and saw all of all of these eyelashes..I really want to try them … how do contact lens wearers and false eyelashes get along?

I’ve sort of been playing around with the idea of trying false lashes, but I’ve been worried that they’ll be too hard…what with having to trim them and making sure that they look somewhat natural, lol! After your post, though, I think I’ll definitely give the MAC ones a shot! :)
