KG, make sure that you put the top back on tightandnot crooked. I know I did that once and after not using that particular color for a few weeks, when went to it had dried up. I did try putting a little bit of water on my brush first then into the pot coor which worked for me. A friend of mine that had left hers on her counter open before leaving for 3 days came back and found hers dried up. She took a few drops of water and then used the end of her brush to kind of mix it. she said that worked to re moisten it and was fine after that. Hope this helps.

Okay, I'm going to agree that the paint pot was wonderful, AT FIRST! Now it is so dry that I have to scrap off a little bit with a fingernail and rub and rub and rub until there aren't little flakes, because once those hit your skin you can't spread them out and you look ridiculous. It's terribly annoying. Anybody have suggestions or encountered the same thing?

Hi Rey,

I sent an email over to my contact at MAC for some insight from their makeup team. Hold tight, it might take a day or two for a response.

for the mac i am using soft ochre (kind of yellowish). for the concealer i am using cream Light 4-5. My skin is not too dark and not too light. I am asian, the color are just a bit lighter than my skintone. Am I suppose to apply foundation or anything else before applying either one on?

Hi Rey,

What color are you using? You definitely want a color that is lighter than the circles themselves, but blends with the rest of your skintone.

I need help! I just bought mac paint pot in place of the urban decay prime, and when i apply it around my eyes to help with the dark circles, it makes the circles darker. I've tried the maybelline concealer, and it does the same thing. Is this suppose to happen???

I love Mac paint pots! I find that spending 16.50 on one that lasts me like 9 months is much better than cheap stuff that lasts 2 you definatly get what pay for. same with the gel eyeliners too. last me when wearing everyday the black, almost 11 months and as long as make sure put the covers on tight they dont dry out like alot of liquids
