Searching around tonight hoping to find something interesting and new, I came upon Aromaleigh Cosmetics. This is a fabulous mineral makeup company with an online forum, photo galleries, free makeup samples with every order (!) and the coolest part? The owner, Kristen, comes from Scranton PA! That sealed the deal for me (and for those who are new here–I live down the road from the city of Scranton).

she looks so cool. i like the variety of gals in the photos in the before & after pics too. neat find!
I just recently started using mineral makeup and i love it. it’s so great and goes on sheer without it looking like you have make up at all. I’m definitely going to check it out, especially since i’m from Pennsylvania too.
I tried Neutrogena’s mineral makeup and hated it, but I don’t think I tried the right brand. My biggest concern is coverage while @ the same time maintaining a natural look. Aromaleigh definitely looks like it is worth a try!
TY!
They seem to have quite the rockergrrrl website. Very different than what I would have expected from a mineral makeup seller, to be honest. I expected more ethereal, more natural, supersheer colors. They have proven my expectations wrong by having lots of fun and bright colors!
I’ve heard a lot about this brand but haven’t been able to stray from bare escentuals…I do love their style on the site though.
I tried Bare Escentuals and perhaps the problem was my skin condition at the time. I hated it. I thought I would never try it again, but Aromleigh sold me with their awesome mineral foundation. I fell in LOVE with the gel eyeliner, first, because it stays on ALL day and is very easy to apply. I’m glad I gave minerals a second try, though B.E. will not get a second chance. No need to move on when you find what you like, right?
They’re just OK. The product quality is decent, but the bottles are awful and messy. Plus dealing with the owner is terrible because she’s often overstressed over her children and will reply with bitchy comments and still not answer questions.
Agree with Lina. Not worth the poor customer service hassle. If you dare upset the owner, Kristin, you will get a scalding and sarcastic email. Product is just ok, cs awful.
