I’m not one to stick to a particular brand and just about everyday I mix and match my makeup to suit my mood. I would find it inherently blaaaaahh to just do my face with just Este Lauder or Nars each day. How boring.
Some of my favorite mix and match products are:
* Lumiere Mineral Makeup’s Lavender Pearl along my lower lid with Jane Iredale’s Think Pink eyeshadow trio on my upper lid and brow bone.
* NYX Comsetics Super Volume Lip Plumper and Lulu Beauty’s Velvet Lip Lustre.
* Max Factor Volume Couture for thickness and length and Imju Fiberwig Mascara for even longer lashes.
* Besame Cosmetics Chocolate Kiss Lipstick with their Chocolate Lip Glaze over top.
* Jane Iredale’s Carmen PureMoist Lip Colour with Besame Cosmetics Shimmer Peach Enriched Lip Glaze over top.
* Urban Apothecary’s Super Natural Mineral Powder as foundation and tarte’s tipsy cheek stain as blush.
* Kiss My Face Tinted Moisturizer as moisturizer/light coverage foundation and Lumiere Cosmetics Light/Med. Beige Mineral Powder Foundation as a finishing powder.
I’m sure I could come up with a much longer list, but I’d love to hear which products you like to mix and match to give you a fabulous look!

I mix and match everyday! I wear Maybelline Mousse Makeup. I use Physicians Formula Mineral Powder to set my foundation. I am using Estee Lauder eyeliner, I have several eyeshadows, Revlon, Covergirl, Estee Lauder, Physicians Formula and who knows what else! Blushes are mostly Estee Lauder. Lipsticks are like my eyshadows. I don’t use just one line of makeup.
I love using the different samples from Everyday Minerals. I also like playing around with eyeshadows from clinique and the almay color enhancers. Lipgloss ranges from Clinique full potential to Maybelline’s Superstay gloss. it’s really cool because it’s the same concept of the long lasting lipstick except it’s for gloss. that is tons of fun, you must check it out!
I’ve got a lot of brand “loyalty” to MAC and Lancome, but neither one has given me the perfect foundation. I’ve been looking at Estee Lauder, and thanks to Makeup Minute and Shannon, will be trying Elizabeth Arden soon. So, the search for the Holy Grail foundation continues…
I love mixing and matching eyeshadows or lips, though… it’s a lot of fun.
I love trying new lipsticks … I really like Laura Mercier (sp?) which I found at Sephora. I stick to the same concealer (MAC), eyeliner (Lancome) and switch Mascaras all the time-can’t find the perfect one!
I mix and match all the time. Hwy stick to one brand when theyr are hundreds that all offer something different. I use revlon and cover girl mascaras, lancome and elizabeth arden eye shadows. My foundation is of course Bare Minerals.
I mix Clinique city defense tinted moisturizer with a light dusting of bare escentuals foundation…perfect complexion!
