Prestige LightShine Sheer Gloss Liner

I had never encountered Prestige Cosmetics until I received a sample of their lip liner back at Fashion Week. I don’t use lip liners too often, so this one sat for a while until this past week when I decided to give it a try. You know that commercial where people are bonked on the head for not having a V8? Yeah, well I did the same wondering what stopped me from trying this sooner.
Unlike most lip pencils, the LightShine Sheer Gloss Liner is more like a crayon with the look of a pencil and glides on easily (think Shiseido’s Lip Crayon). However, it is doesn’t sharpen automatically like Sheseido’s, you use a sharpener like any other lip pencil. It is meant to be used under your lip gloss without overshadowing the color of it. It does contain pigment, just at a lower level. Lightshine Sheer Gloss also has a shiny finish, so you could essentially wear it alone.
I decided to pair it with my Lancome Juicy Tubes World Tour (in Red Hot New York). My Lightshine came in “Banyan,” a fleshy, peachy-beige color. They looked perfect together.
I have to tell you I had a hard time hunting down where to find this product and more importantly where to find this particular color. I finally struck gold at www.probeautywarehouse.com (Walgreen’s also sells Lightshine, but doesn’t have this color.)
Have you used it?
