i remember trying a rollerball shadow WAY back & it was awlful… im weary of trying it again, at least until i see really good reviews.

Haven’t used it, but now I want it! You ladies are right about breaking eyeshadows, it is truly a saddening experience! Rollerball eyeshadows are so innovative and cool – and I love all things rollerball (especially perfumes). I’d worry about rolling it over an already applied eyeshadow though and having it pick up that color and contaminate the container. I’m sure there’s a way to work around that though…

Thats no worries..if you are familair with pigments then maybe theres a way of removing the rollerball and using the shadow as a pigment as Julie said. It really is a beautiful jewel green colour. Im going to have a play and let you know about it, then you may be able to still give it a go.

Ally thanks so much for the heads up. I saw this same exact product this weekend in an Avon catologue on sale. It look cute, but i didn’t order it yet because I’m not really familiar with using it. After reading the comments here i’m glad that i didn’t.

My heart cries just a little, whenever I break an eyeshadow. I might give this a try. I think pigments are the way to go, though, to avoid breaking powders.

I bought an avon version in a beautiful green about two years ago (in the UK) and i have to say its really bad! now this may just be the Avon version that is not very good but i would be hesitant to buy any more roller ball eyeshadows.

The product was hard to get out and had to keep going back and forth just as the previous commenter (is that even a word?!) mentioned. But i found that the powder would fall onto my cheekbones and just create a mess. I tried using an eyeshadow brush but i just reckon its time consuming.

sorry 4 the rant lol! I hope these ones are much different with satisfactory results!

Okay, several years back I bought a Roller Ball Eyeshadow that Mayballene came out with. I still have them both (in fact the brown one is in my purse right now, I just checked) and they are great for no mess usage, but they feel so weird going on!!! The color is not very dark so it is more of a wash that goes on. You really have to keep going back and forth over your eye lid for a darker color, and it can start to hurt. But for a quick touch up when you need a little more, like for after work drinks and you have no time to get home for a complete make-over, etc…..they do work.
So I have to wonder if these Bella Il Fioreâ€™s roller balls are any different.
