Products I am eyeing up

Maybelline Shine Seduction.
With 20 seductive creams and shimmers, and the fact that it looks eriely similar to e.l.f.’s Moisture Lip Care, makes me wonder if the colors are better and it if works just as good. (And darn it, I can’t find a picture of it on the web anywhere!)

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Mineral Powder Foundation

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Foundation.
I think I want it just for the simplicity alone. A brush that is already part of the powder? How easy does this look to take in your purse?

What products have you been eyeing up lately?

I’d say don’t waste your money on this one. The Neutrogena packaging on this sucks, I broke it effortlessly. It was like I became She-Ra. The container splintered with minimal effort. Plus, as a cheapie mineral powder I prefer the L’Oreal Bare Naturale!

I agree with Afrobella, I’ve bought this product twice, and it broke both times unfortunately!

Thanks for the head’s up girls!

I have both of the products you are eyeing up. Any yes, the lid on my mineral sheers did splinter like the other ladies listed here said. But I still enjoy the product. It goes on easy (the convience alone works) and really covers well. Great for a day of “bare-faced” Sundays. And for $10 compared to other higher priced products….there you go.
I also have the Shine Seduction Gloss in #520, not sure what color that is. It covers well, has a great fruity smell and is pretty shiny. But its a gloss, so do not expect it to last forever.

Thanks Dawn! I appreciate the details about the two products! :)

the cap never broke for me, but the blush was hard to get out. you can see that the blush cames out just in the middle of the brush so i can tend to look streaky. also, you have to hecka shake it so that some stuff can come out!

the last thing is that since i put concealer on before, i find that the stiff brush tends to wipe away my concealer when im swiping on the blush…

so final verdict is a no unfortunately since blush breaks so easily in the purse, it would be awesome to find a good portable one!

Hmm, sounds like it was one of those ideas that’s better off on someone’s wish list as opposed to sitting broken in someone’s purse.

  8. Kristen says:

I’m a sucker for all things mineral, however I don’t like products where the brush/applicator are attached…there’s always product loss when you can’t get the last bit out, and it’s hard to control the amount.

  9. Ashley Samantha says:

I tried the Neutrogena mineral sheer foundation just *because* of the built in brush and I was so disappointed. It didn’t do a thing for me, I wasn’t even sure it was depositing onto my skin.

  10. Trudi S. says:

The mineral sheers comes in a cool package. It reminds me of Jane Iredale’s bronzer. The only problem I have with this type of packaging is that the product is hard to get out sometimes.
