“Promise” in a lip gloss

February 9, 2007 by Shannon Nelson

Last night I wrote a post on the Beauty PR blog about this lip gloss called “Promise” that claims you can lose weight by using it. Sounds unbelievable right? I thought so too.

Have any of you used Promise? Here is the link to the post: Lose Weight With a Lip Gloss? I think it sounds a little outrageous. Make sure to let us know what you think….and if you have indeed used it, I’d love to hear how it worked.

Outrageous indeed! Fuze lipgloss also tried it again this year. I guess they’re all hoping a gimmick wil make their items sell.

I believe the only way to lose weight is the good old fashioned way of healthy diet and exercise!

Never tried it, but I wouldn’t waste my money. Sounds totally bogus.

Honestly, I just believe that claim is a load of garbage. I don’t think anyone else is falling for this either.

  4. Ashley Samantha says:

I heard about the Fuze version and it did seem promising when I read the description – how it contained appetite curbing properties, but I don’t think it can make you lose weight. It probably just makes you think “Maybe I don’t want that Snicker Bar,” IF it’s capable of that, lol
