I’m not sure what to think about this lip plumper. When I use a plumper, I expect to see immediate results. Would you agree? The website says that this plumper works without the burning and tingling effects, so I knew not to expect this. However, I’m not sure exactly how it is supposed to cause any plumping action without “irritating” your lips into puffing up.
What the website says:
Six luscious light reflecting colors that plump up your lips without burning or tingling. Contains Maxi-Lip, a scientific breakthrough that increases blood flow to the lips without any unpleasant tingly side effects. The light reflecting quality of these gorgeous shades also helps to create the illusion of a fuller, more sensual lip. With 30 days of regular use, see a 30% increase in lip fullness and a 70% decrease in lines around the lips!
The color I have is Lil’ Something Something, which I think is particularly gorgeous. It is a 24 karat gold gloss that looks amazing. As with Lumene, I waited for an eternity for my lips to plump up, which they did not. I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks, but according to the details above, the plumpness (30%) comes 30 days after regular use. Who the heck wants to wait 30 days for their lips to plump? Also, without knowing exactly what the ingredients are in this “Maxi-Lip” concoction it’s hard to say if this is just a mind trick or truth. Also, interestingly enough, Lumene says their plumpers have “Maxi-Lip” technology.
So I will continue to wear it everyday up to 30 days and see if I notice a difference, but for now it is a gorgeous colored lip gloss.

I’m not a fan of lip plumpers, but the lip plumper you chose looks really good (Lil’ Something Something).
Sounds like it just makes your lips look bigger through reflective particles…and is that orange?!
