Chalk this one up to another classic beauty trend (which I am totally loving!) Senna Cosmetics launches Siren on September 8th, a combination of classic beauty and modern power-chic. It’s iconic makeup of the 1920’s with a modern twist.
Inspired by Marlene Dietrich’s sculpted cheekbones and strong eye contours in the movie Blue Angel, the collection captures feminine drama and playful fantasy while maintaining a classically beautiful aesthetic. Siren dares women to transform themselves into modern vixens, creating bold, smoldering and edgy eyes with luscious lips in rose red and gilded bronze shades to balance a dramatic fall face.
Glamour Eyes Mineral Shadow Trios showcase the perfect combinations of navy blues, creams, chocolates and plums, designed to add dimension to the eye and create a mesmerizing jeweled finish. 24 Karat Eye Bling is the perfect addition to the fall eye, sweeping the lid with subtle flecks of gold, creating additional sparkle and dimension. With Senna’s new Voluptulash faux lashes, the Siren eye is sure to turn heads, with lashes designed to extend on the outermost edge to create the coveted doe-eyed look.
The Siren Lip:
Lips swing both ways for fall in either barely there nudes with a hint of sparkle, or luscious berries and reds to pack a dramatic punch when combined with the Siren eye. Heartbreaker, a retro glamour red; Allure and Charade Sheer Glows; Sheer Blackberry Stain and Double Dose Lip Lacquer in Taboo are all essential components of the Siren lip palette.
The Siren Brow:
Senna founder and brow guru, Eugenia Weston, has envisioned a modern-day interpretation of the 1920s brow for the Siren collection that is a bit slimmer and delicately filled in with Senna’s bestselling Form-A-Brow Kit or the new Brow Definer Pomade.
The Siren Cheek:
Cheeks need only a hint of color for fall. Use either Amour, a universally flattering peach, or Lac, a golden-ivory-pink pearly glow.
(hello gorgeous palette!)
