Call me slightly skeptical when a brand makes some stellar claims about a product, but also call me intrigued when that claim is by a very well-known brand. Bare Escentuals has just launched its newest mascara, Buxom Lash, which they claim will volumize lashes by 300%. Not 100%, not 200%, but 300%..I guess they’re not fooling around. Mascara is serious stuff.

My Bare Escentuals Boxum Lips came in the color of “Candi.” This is the first and only product I have ever tried from Bare Escentuals. The brand had a lot to live up to since I have heard so many beauty bloggers rave about them.

Sephora is having a gift set sale on Bare Escentuals (seen above). It’s a 9 piece set that retails for $131 and is on sale for $55 (sounds like a steal to me).
I personally have never used Bare Escentuals, but they seem to be everywhere. QVC, infomercials (sometimes I can’t sleep), my mother’s makeup case…I can’t seem to get away from them.
