Benefit Cosmetics Thrrob

There’s nothing better to a “no makeup look” than having perfectly flushed cheeks…with a little help of course from Benefit Cosmetics new blush Thrrob.
The silky sheer pale pink give fair and medium skin tones a hint of color with a slight shimmer (very subtle). I found Thrrob to be a great day blush, especially when I am not in the mood to get all done up to go run errands, yet still want to have the basics on my face.
It actually looks to be a brighter pink in the picture above than it actually is in person. The …read more
Benefit Cosmetics Gilded

Gilded, from Benefit Cosmetics is a tequila gold highlighting pencil. As my friend Jason says, “Metallics are the new neutral.”
Benefit says, “It’s like 24 carat gold in a stick!”
I have to say, I love this little golden pencil. It’s nice and soft, so it glides across your skin as you apply it. I’ve used it across my brown bone, under my lower lids and on my lips under my 24 sexy gold lip gloss.
Gilded gives a nice shimmer without taking over–it merely compliments any other colors and products you are already using.
Have you tried it?
Benefit Cosmetics BADgal Blue Mascara

Finally! I finally got Benefit Cosmetics BADgal Blue. I honestly never thought I’d see the day. I was just way too scared of feeling all Debbie Gibson wearing this deep blue violet mascara. If you just said, “Debbie who?” then go look her up on Wikipedia–if you know who I mean (and not just because of Skating with Celebrities), feel old with me.
It was the beginning of this year that Benefit launched this product and I was skeptical about it. So now that I finally have it, let me share my thoughts.
BADgal Blue isn’t the bright blue of mascara’s past, …read more

Benefit Cosmetics “Justine Case”

It seems that California Kissin was a one hit wonder, soon to be miniturized and is now part of the “Justine Case” Wrapped and Ready product category of Benefit Cosmetics. I’ve had California Kissin (in the “old” full size version) for a while and feel mixed about it…
California Kissin is Benefit’s “fake it” gloss for whiter looking teeth. It’s a clear gloss with lots of blue shimmer. Its minty scent and taste will keep you feeling like you just brushed your teeth (or you just have some Colgate Total action going on).
The mint isn’t a bad thing, just not expected …read more
Benefit Cosmetics 24K Gold Lip Gloss

Along with their Silky Finish Lipstick, Benefit sent me their 24K Gold Lip Gloss to take for a spin. Metallics are in they say, and I am all about the gloss–what a perfect combination!
The gloss itself is sheer with tons of specs of gold. Worn alone, your lips sparkle, worn over your favorite lipstick, it adds another dimension of color. I tried it over several lipsticks, even my MAC Rush Metal Lipsticks that are gold tinged and the look was glamorous.
The gloss wasn’t tacky, sticky or thick-feeling. Despite all of the gold flecs, I couldn’t feel them. Just a great …read more
Benefit Cosmetics Silky Finish Lipstick

Benefit Cosmetics Silky Finish Lipstick Lipstick is one of the great products that Carmindy recommends in her 5 minute face. Since Carmindy knows a thing or two about makeup, I knew it was a product I had to try.
I have Hug It Out which, according to the Benefit website is a pink nectar color with a pearl finish. Honestly, when I first saw the color I was nervous that it would be too dark because it doesn’t look pink at all–it looks more brown, however it doesn’t apply as dark as it seems in the tube. It’s actually a very …read more
