As longtime readers of Makeup Minute already know, nail polish is a real passion of mine. As such, I spend all too much time checking out the swatches and reading up on the latest collections over at All Lacquered Up, THE definitive guide to nail polish online.

ALU blogger Michelle Mismas, who’s collaborated with Barielle and Rescue Beauty Lounge (and been quoted all over the place as a nail expert) was nice enough to ask ME a few questions this week.

My name is Shannon and I love makeup. Give me some lip gloss and a nice eye shadow and you will have a new best friend. I’ve loved makeup since my mother began applying it on me from the early age of 3 for my dance recitals. It was only until a few years ago that I really fell in love with everything about makeup and understood how it could not only change your outward appearance, but how you feel on the inside, as well.

This blog is intended to be one that is written with you in mind, the makeup consumer. Or maybe you are just starting to discover your ~~addiction~~ love for makeup, too.

Other things to know about me: I am a 33 year old mother of 4 beautiful boys I cherish, ages 8, 5, 3 and 4 months. My husband and our family live in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Northeast PA. I am a rep. for Jordan Essentials and my very first blog, that is my heart, is A Girl’s Gotta Spa.
