This month I am going to try to feature as many places as possible that let you shop for a cure. October is Breast Cancer awareness month. My husband’s aunt has breast cancer, his grandmother passed away from it, my friend Kate is a survivor, while another friend’s mother passed away from it last year. No matter who you are, you most likely know at least one person who has battled this disease.
This month at Beauty.com they have a Shop for a Cure section, where a portion of the proceeds from certain products bought, go to breast cancer research.

tarte is Pretty in Pink for breast cancer

For the month of October, tarte cosmetics will donate 20% of proceeds from the “Pretty in Pink” collection to the Young Survival Coalition, a support network for women under 40 living with breast cancer.
During that month, tarte cosmetics will also have an online guest columnist discuss her experience as a breast cancer survivor. She’ll blog about her diagnosis and chemotherapy experience, offer helpful beauty tips for those undergoing treatments, and most importantly she’ll give women of all ages a sense of hope.
