In honor of Coco Chanel’s affection for the city, Peter Philips, Global Creative Director for Chanel Makeup, took inspiration from the city of Venice for the Fall 2009 color collection.  Think rich sienna and deep rose tones, along with dusky greys and greens that when combined, create a lovely and modern look.

The Fall 2009 collection from Chanel offers up some true standouts including the limited edition Luminous Cream Quadra Eye Shadow, which boasts a unique gel-cream texture that can take your look from sheer to intense, or day to night in a flash.

Also new for Fall…

For lips:

• Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Colour in Intuitive, a pinkish brown; Clandestine, a rich brick shade; Captive, a classic brown; Amusing, a rosewood tone; Comedia, a true rose; and Instinctive, a perfect pink nude.
• Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Courtisane, a natural pink, and Arelequin, a glossy gold.
• Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer in Praline d’Or, a golden-hued nude.

For eyes:

• Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Murano, a palette with shades of moss, pink and seafoam, and green shimmer.
• Irrelle Silky Eyeshadow Duo in Acqua Alta, a pairing of white and grey shadows.
• Le Crayon Sourcils Precision Brow Definer, Blond Clair and Cendre Noir.

For Face:

• Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Fresque, a subtle peach shade
• Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Sienna, a gorgeous earthy bronze:

• Poudre Douce Soft Pressed Powder in Pêche Caresse, a soft peach.

And last, but never least…for Nails:

• Le Vernis Nail Colour: Intermezzo, a white pearl, and Gondola, a stunning maroon shimmer.

Included in the collection is the Nude Eye Palette ($60), which features eye shadow duos in a sophisticated and universally flattering selection of shades and textures. Also new for Fall is a new Shimmer Brick shade – the Nude Shimmer Brick ($40). Featuring five pure pearl pigments in pink, gold, bronze, beige, and caramel, the shades are designed to be blended together to give all skin tones a soft nude, lit from within glow.

Rounding out the Nudes Collection is the Caviar Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($21) a rich, deep brown eye liner and four new shades of Bobbi’s popular Creamy Lip Color ($22).

The collection will be available at department stores and  www.bobbibrown.com in July 2009.
