In my eternal quest for a finishing powder that absorbs oil, leaves makeup looking flawless and is light enough to let skin breathe, I’ve given countless products the old college try.
But none – none – have worked as beautifully for me as MAC’s new Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder ($21). Part of the Colour Ready collection, this loose powder is finely milled and includes barely-there light reflectors for a soft, diffused finish. It sinks into skin, but not into fine lines.
