A Concealer to Love: Mary Kay Concealer

A Concealer to Love: Mary Kay Concealer

Concealer. Sometimes we can’t live with it, but we definitely can’t live without it.
There seem to be a zillion formulas of concealer on the market, and for each formula, there are several shades. Choosing the right concealer for your complexion and the flaws you’re looking to hide can be quite a challenge.
In my quest for finding the perfect concealer, I stumbled across Mary Kay’s Color Concealer and I’ve been hooked ever since. Its formula is creamy, but not gloppy. The coverage it provides is thorough, but not paint-like. There are several colors, but not so many that you’re left …read more

Leaving Makeup Minute and Passing the Torch

My wonderful beautiful readers of Makeup Minute. I have been procrastinating on this post for a few days now. I tell you this with great sadness in my heart, but today is my last day writing Makeup Minute. It was a tough decision, but there is a lot going on in my life right now and I can only focus on so many things, some being my 4 beautiful sons and own blog A Girl’s Gotta Spa! which brought me to this great company in the first place. Fashion Week Photos

Here are some pictures from my time in NY during Fashion Week:

A fellow beauty blogger, Lianne from TheMakeupGirl, Samara and myself. We were at an Italian restaurant (IL Menestrello) that as Lianne put it, “Was real gangsta!” I had a great time at dinner with these ladies and we certainly laughed a lot.

I was invited to an event at Estee Lauder with Total Beauty and The Beauty Blog Network. We were given a tour of Mrs. Lauder’s office, intact the way she had it while she was still alive. The room was gorgeous, although I remarked on the fact that …read more

Who knew that one day I would be known beyond this little snow-haven?
So I’d love to find out from you, how did you first hear about Makeup Minute and what state or country do you read me …read more
