Guerlain’s gorgeous Meteorites Powders have long taunted me from the shelves at Sephora. But $53 is a steep price to pay for a complexion enhancer in this economy.
Thankfully, Victoria’s Secret has created a budget-conscious dupe with the new Heidi Klum Luminous Face Powder Gems. Inspired by Heidi’s life-changing trip to the spiritual city of Varanasi, India, the packaging is beyond lovely and what’s inside is pretty fab too.
These multi-colored spheres deliver a really natural looking radiant all-over glow or a nice pop of cheek color depending on how you apply.
I like to swirl a blush brush in a circular …read more

I don’t know about you but Project Runway Season 4 was hands down my favorite. I loved hilarious Jack Mackenroth and smoking hot Rami Kashou but most of all, I loved the uber-talented (and uber-sassy) Christian Siriano, the season’s winner.
Siriano was the first Project Runway designer to really hit it big – since winning, he’s dressed countless celebs (including fashion icon Victoria Beckham), shown in the tents at New York Fashion Week and created a line of footwear for Payless. So, what’s next for this pint-sized powerhouse?
That’s right – makeup! Siriano has collaborated with Victoria’s Secret to create a beautiful line …read more

Stepping out into a deconstructed-chic 1930’s vibe at the last night’s Metropolitan Museum’s Annual Costume Institute Gala, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr “wanted sultry, smokey and a sensational eyes” said make-up artist Meredith Baraf.
To get her look, Baraf used five simple tips anyone can do at home:
1. Prep: To begin, Baraf always preps the eye. Using products from the new VS Make-up PRO line she applied VS PRO Lasting FX Eyeshadow Primer all over the lids and under the eye, helping to create the base for a perfect, long-lasting, smooth eye.
2. Liner: Baraf used VS Make-up Eyeliner in Extreme Black. …read more

Back when I was in New York for Fashion Week, Victoria’s Secret had rented out an entire suite to showcase their latest lingerie as well as their fall makeup line. Naturally I made my way over the to line up of makeup and was able to pick up their Cream to Powder Eye Shadow Duo, as well as a Metallic Eye Liner, Blush Highlighter Duo and Lip Gloss Duo.
The gorgeous eye shadow is a neutral tone in Catwalk (pictured)–a creamy taupe and the powder shadow a rich chocolate color. Each shadow exhibits a shimmer on your eyes and looks beautiful. …read more

As the very gorgeous Heidi Klum gets ready to walk down the Red Carpet at the Oscar’s, I asked Victoria’s Secret Beauty’s makeup artist Linda Hay for some tips to being red carpet ready:
Shannon: How do celebrities like Heidi Klum keep their skin matte when under the California sun and bright lights of the red carpet?
Linda Hay: Start with an oil-free moisturizer and choose sheer foundations and concealers like my favorites from Very Sexy Makeup, which don’t cake and flake, and allow skin to breathe. To minimize shine as the night wears on, keep blotting papers and power in your …read more
