tarte Cosmetics: Lights, Camera, Lashes

When tarte sent me their fabulous Cheek Stain, they also included Lights, Camera, Lashes. If there is one thing I think rocks about tarte, it has got to be their packaging. This mascara comes in a purple leather top and bottom. It really makes you feel like you are about to indulge in something special.
What they say:
For all the girls who ought to be in pictures, a mascara that’s worthy of a freeze frame. This lash-loving combination of carnuba and candellia wax to help extend and maintain the length of the lashes; synthetic film to form and hold the curl; and soft esters derived from olives to add volume and shine - all you need for the ultimate close up.
Their mascara uses the “old school” wand for application, but that was just fine by me although I am totally in love with the new modable plastic wands now on the market by other brands. I didn’t experience any clumping and it appeared to apply to each individual lash. It really worked well and I have no complaints at all.
Have you used this mascara? What did you think?

I can’t believe you are not over the moon about this, Shannon. It is my favorite mascara, and what I use almost every day.
While I do like some of the plastic wands that are newer, you cannot beat this beauty of a mascara. The formula makes my lashes extremely full and thick, while adding length.
I don’t really have any complaints about it, but it didn’t make me go WOW like the Max Factor Volume Couture did.
Hmm, I wonder what my lashes would look like if I combined the two…
I really like this mascara. It doesn’t have a big WOW factor, but for every day wear I’m all over it. No smudging, and I’m mostly about definition and curl, and it works for that. It’s a keeper for me.
hey girl, I couldn’t live without him My Tarte Mascara; I tried it once and my eyes cry without it:-)
I think that given all that’s been said here, that the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara would be a great gift — look at the pretty purple casing! My friend’s birthday is coming up… hmm….
This one is soooo Bette-Davis-Eyes worthy. I picture it giving big, fluffy lashes.
I actually tried this mascara. It was really great, almost comparable to Dior Show. The only problem I had with it is that it tended to clump some of my lashes. Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
