tarte: Jake and Samantha lipgloss

I recently received tarte’s double ended lipgloss in Jake & Samantha (formerly Carrie and Big). The colors are bright raspberry and pale cotton candy pink. Two colors that happen to look smashingly on me (if I do say so myself).
These gloss containers spare no expense and waste no space. They are literally completely filled with gloss. More bang for your buck and I have to say, I like it that way.
The bright raspberry color is so pretty and from what I saw in the Fashion Week photos in NYC, the berry colored lip is back (hello 1980something). I honestly can’t help but love it, and at least I know now how to actually put on makeup (as evidenced by photos of me from the 80’s that I will probably never show you).
The pale cotton candy pink is also pretty and really adds some spark when I wear my pale pink and purple eyeshadows.
The applicator is a small brush that allows for perfectly painted lips. The gloss is on the thick side, but personally I prefer my glosses that way because they are the ones that tend to have staying power.
The really cool part is that these glosses “snap off.” That center silver holder is a connector and allows you to mix and match glosses as you desire. Or you can simply snap off the one gloss you want to carry around with you.
Love this gloss and don’t forget, it is a part of tarte’s Pretty in Pink collection that raises funds for breast cancer this month.
I *love* the Tarte Double-Ended Glosses! In fact, I have two in regular rotation: Cliff and Clair (brown w/shimmer, cotton candy pink) and Bonnie and Clyde (sheer shimmery red, true red).
I love all of Tartes gloss they go on nice and smooth never tacky and out last any brand I have ever used and I have used a ton! Thanks Tarte for making such wonderful Glosses!
fortunately, berry glosses are coming back for 08! these glosses look even better than the fafi collection’s bright colors! and you get two for the price of one…and again pink purpose!

I just watched the episode where Samantha shaved her head and then put on the pink wig. *Single tear for that show, I loved every episode.
I have the same one…the names are so cute too.
