While traveling via plane this Holiday season, amid a layover with nothing to do but wait, while not go shopping? Exclusively at an airport near you, Estee Lauder has launched its Golden Jewel Compact with Pink Shimmer Powder this month.
This new golden compact is adorned with a delicate butterfly motif on the lid. It houses Estee Lauder Signature Shimmer Powder that delicately highlights and gives radiance to any complexion. A small brush applicator is also included and is protected in a matching pink suede pouch.

It Cosmetics wasn’t something I stumbled upon on my own, a reader (thanks Renee!) brought it to my attention. It Cosmetics is waterproof makeup to enhance or hide certain aspects of your body. According to the site, the different techniques applied when using the makeup can define your abs, minimize or enhance your chest, minimize cellulite (yes please) conceal your double chin and so on.

Gilded, from Benefit Cosmetics is a tequila gold highlighting pencil. As my friend Jason says, “Metallics are the new neutral.”
Benefit says, “It’s like 24 carat gold in a stick!”
I have to say, I love this little golden pencil. It’s nice and soft, so it glides across your skin as you apply it. I’ve used it across my brown bone, under my lower lids and on my lips under my 24 sexy gold lip gloss.
Gilded gives a nice shimmer without taking over–it merely compliments any other colors and products you are already using.

Jelly Pong Pong is a quirky cosmetics company. I love how they add humor and an interesting take on their makeup, but their latest product, Venus Magical Pearls is a little on the fancy side.
This pearl colored jar comes in a small hat box-like package. I received mine in Goddess Skin, and from the packaging, I first mistook it to be a skin care product. I was surprised when I opened the jar to find amber colored little balls or “pearls.”

When I was applying Moon Beam, my youngest son was in the bathroom watching me…because I can never seem to get away from the kids…he began to laugh at me as he thought I was putting nail polish on my cheeks. It is kind of funny that the product really does look like a bottle of nail polish.
