I came across Beauty From the Earth when I was doing my Meadow Quinn fundraiser. They contributed to the fund-raising efforts and I couldn’t help but think how similar they were to my now defunct favorite, Twisted Fayte.

Beauty From the Earth has mineral makeup kits and sets, foundations, mineral veils, blushes, concealer, eyeliner–you name it and it’s there.

Right now they are having a pretty cool contest where you make yourself up in their products, take a picture of yourself and submit it for consideration for their homepage. If you win, you get a $75 shopping spree on their site. If you picture is used in another location on the website other than the homepage (but what is better than that?), you will also get 2 free Multi-Purpose Minerals (see their contest page for more details).

Now the part of their site I loved the most? Their gallery of makeovers. Some of the transformations are amazing. Check it out for yourself!

Mommy Makeup’s Any Wear Creme is a 3-in-1 makeup product. It triples as an eye shadow, a highligher to your blush and as a lip color. Goldilocks is a copper/bronze and Twinkle is a pink/gold (although I feel like it is more gold).

The colors look amazing on my eyes as I used them on my lid and slightly below my brow bone. To break up the similarity of color, I used MAC’s Paint Pot in Moss Scape. All three products are exactly the same in texture, so they blended well.

Mommy Makeup’s Any Wear Creme didn’t smudge or crease and I checked it after wearing it for about 8 hours–looked exactly the same. On your cheeks it creates a luminosity and a glow. It will dry on your lips, so you’ll need to apply gloss over top to keep them moisturized. I chose to use Benefit’s 24K Gold Lip Gloss. The color was very similar so if anything it just added some extra shine to a gorgeous lip color.
