Have you seen these adorable vintage lip balms that Sephora has with On10? The balms are all inspired by the iconic brands of childhood such as 7Up, Tootsie Roll, Hershey’s Kisses and Dr. Pepper. Everyone wants their skin to look flawless, but of course life likes to throw us curve balls–a blemish here, an age spot there, redness there. Somehow all of the lipsticks I was wearing 24/7 while in New York totally dried out my lips. Then Darphin’s Lip Gloss in Illusion came across my desk, and being a total sucker for a beautiful pink gloss, I swiped it across my lips to find that it actually made them feel better.
Darphin’s lip gloss is purposed to hydrate your lips with soy, vitamin E and wheat protein. Typically I don’t find lip gloss hydrating, honestly I can only think of a handful that I have tried that do, so this lip gloss was a welcomed find.

I have the TOVA Lip Redeemer in Clear, a lip product that is geared to be used alone as a moisturizing balm or in adjunct to your lipstick to lock in the color. My feeling about it is so-so; read on and if you have used it tell me if you agree or disagree.

DuWop’s Reverse Time duo, a Reverse Lip Liner and Reverse Eyeliner, are on my want list right now. Both products are aimed at preventing your makeup from smudging while plumping the fine lines around your eyes and mouth.
From the product description one of the ingredients is something I’ve never heard of before– Kombuchka. Have you heard of it? It’s supposed to promote “lipofilling” to restore volume back to your skin.
