“I developed rocacea in high school. I have used metrogel, taken oracea, and even had laser treatment (painful). My face as cleared up considerably except for my nose. I look like rudolph. I don’t go without makeup. I’ve been using aveeno anti-redness lotion and it helps some. I’ve used sheer elegance powder foundation and a number of other foundations. They all seem to work for all of my face except my nose. Any suggestions? –Tamie”

“What do you think of ‘Sheer Cover’ mineral makeup? I never hear much if anything about it. Is it liked as well as ‘Bare Minerals?’ or any of the others? Thanks, Jackie”
I actually wonder the same thing too Jackie. I’ve seen Sheer Cover’s infomercials and wonder just how well it works. If any readers have tried Sheer Cover, Bare Minerals, etc. please share your experience in the comments.
While I know nothing of how Sheer Cover works, I found a website dedicated to complaints of Sheer Cover’s product and customer service (282 complaints yikes!) You can see it here: Sheer Cover …read more

Blended lashes? Not so much.
“I’d like to know how to apply false eyelashes to make them not so false-looking. In other words, how can you make them blend in more naturally with your regular lashes, and what type of eyeliner/shadow should you wear with them. ” Kori E. (ShoeBlitz)
As with last week’s photo–this is not Kori! If it was I’d probably put a black privacy line across her eyes after I had a good laugh for myself.
If you’ve learned the art of applying false lashes and giving them the look of being real, please share your tips with Kori in …read more

“Whenever I rim my top inner eye (using a black pencil), I end up with a thick black line under my eyes by the end of the night. Sometimes I can pass it off as smokey, other times, it just looks like I put my makeup up with the lights out. Any tips on how to prevent this from happening?” Min, Virginia

“Hi, I was wondering whether anyone had suggestions for how to line around the entire eye, even the inner corners…to achieve a look like Amrita Rao’s (pictured). I’ve seen this done on many Indian and Arabic models/actresses, but I can’t quite figure out how to do it–nor how to keep in smudge-proof! Any ideas?” Sheena, Michigan
