Twisted Fayte’s Lip Product Contest

Filed under Mineral Makeup, lipgloss, my makeup friends

How often does a makeup company ask for your input for their next product launch? Twisted Fayte is doing just that with a contest being promoted on their message board.

~~~~~~~
From Heather Hanson, owner of Twisted Fayte:
You are a cosmetic designer and you have been made a part of the TF color development team…..What would your ideal lip color be? Would it be matte? Pearl? Iridescent? Would it be sheer, glossy, opaque? Would it have a fragrance? Chocolate? Mint? Apple? None? Would you have two lippies? A sheer color for day and a more dramatic version of it for night?
List up to three! Be as specific as possible! If your color is chosen, it will be named after you and you will receive five free!!! One for you, and four to give your friends while you brag that you designed it!
To be part of the contest you must post your design ideas on our message board.
~~~~~~~

So get crackin Makeup Minute readers! I want to hear that one of you has a lip product named after them! Good luck!

    What a cool idea!

    While the contest finished like a year ago, I’ll still put in my two cents (maybe they’ll take my idea and proclaim me a genius)…

    I’d love a pearlized, glossy caramel/pink with a honey fragrance, and I’d call it honey. If it were a day/night thing, the night would punch it up a bit with some fierce shimmer (no glitter, though. Nothing worse than glitter.)

    Here’s my one cent:
    I would develope a perfect neutral gloss for extremely fair skin. Everything already out there labeled neutral is muddy on me. It would be slightly pink and not too glossy, just a nice sheer shine. No fragrance either…I hate when my skincare/makeup/haircare products compete for my (and other people’s) nostrils.
