Urban Apothecary Mineral Lip Tint SPF 15

With all of these bright lipsticks I’ve been talkin about lately (here and here), I knew eventually someone would send me one to try and that I couldn’t avoid the latest trend. When Urban Apothecary sent me their newest Mineral Lip Tint in “Berry,” I thought “No way” and put it on my shelf. Yet, since I know Urban Apothecary is an awesome brand, it kept calling my name from the shelf and I eventually gave in. When I was trying out MAC’s Electro Flash eye shadows today, the berry color just seemed like it would be the perfect compliment…and I was right.
The Mineral Lip Tint glides on effortlessly and makes you feel like you are wearing a thin hydrating gloss rather than a lipstick. The berry color definitely was not as bright as I had expected (as seen in the picture) and was more of a subtle berry pink. I surprisingly admit that it is very pretty (and looks great with MAC’s Odd Couple Mineralize Duo).
