Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch No. 2 Beige

The other night when I was browsing the channels, I made a pitstop on QVC. They were doing their Gifts of Beauty show and were showcasing the Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch Highlighter.

The kept talking about how marvelous it was, but honestly when they showed the model before and after, she looked exactly the same. I’ve seen rave reviews all around the web, so I wondered if my eyes were just tired when I watched the show.

Since I know in the next few months, I will be getting some serious lack of sleep and will be looked drained and lifeless, I am wondering if this product really works. If you’ve used it, please tell me what you thought–good or bad!

I love this stuff! Admittedly, the effect is very subtle, and it’s not the kind of product for someone with honking big undereye circles. But it does help brighten the eyes and dark spots ever so subtly.

  2. H says:

I love the YSL highlighter–it really brightens up the eye area and makes you look more awake.

  3. Christie says:

I must be the only one that hasn’t been that impressed with it. In my opinion I couldn’t tell a difference.

  4. Julie says:

Now, how subtle are you talking about? Because I can’t stand having a product that is so subtle as to be a waste of $…

i agree…i’ve tried the ysl highlighter at a makeup counter and saw almost no difference…and it’s pretty expensive too! i suggest you just use your shimmering bronzer…you can layer it to create the effect you want.

  6. Kristen says:

love it! It’s subtle enough to get the “i’m not wearing any makeup” look, but it makes you look fresh faced and awake.

  7. Debbie says:

Yeah, i really didn’t see a difference either. I walked away from the counter before the sales lady tried to sell me on how drastic the difference was. Not worth the money.

  8. Trudi S. says:

Never tried this but I heard YSL’s concealer is really good.

  9. Ashley Samantha says:

YSL just keeps getting better and better w/ the little portable beauty wand things. I loved this past year’s nail polish touch up. thing. they released, I thought it was genius. I’m always chipping my polish, and it was @ a pretty reasonable price too

  10. Riann says:

I find it works really well. I have quite bad dark cirlces and this does the trick for me. It is a brightner and doesn’t claim to completely cover so I find combining it with an undereye concealer when I am wearing more of a face works really well yet when I am wearing a natural face it brightens the eye area but doesn’t weigh down my face or the eye area.
