Mardi Gras is scheduled to take place on February 16th. The yearly event is already an huge deal in New Orleans, but you can bet with the New Orleans Saints pulling out a huge win at the recent Superbowl-the festivities will be bigger than ever.
In honor of Mardi Gras, New Balance has launched a brand new Mardi Gras Collection. New Balance remains true to the comfort of the original sneaker, but with some additional features such as fleur de lis symbol on the tongue label and heel. Honestly, I think New Balance did a great job capturing the true spirit of Mardi Gras.
You can sport the shoes while enjoying yourself at this year’s Mardi Gras or you just can wear them on a regular basis-it’s a win-win either way. The shoes come in colors Black and White.
For more information on the new Mardi Gras collection be sure to visit the official New Balance website: www.newbalance.com
