The Tyndall and Stinson by Xetum

Late last year Xetum announced the launch of their newest collection California designed timepieces. Joining the Xetum family is the Tyndall collection and the Stinson collection- both which happen to be named after famous California mounts.

Xetum was founded by California resident Jeffery Kuo. Mr. Kuo believes that watches have become too bulky, flamboyant, and entirely overpriced over this years. With Xetum, Jeffery Kuo gives costumers an happy medium of style, design, material and pricing.

The Tydall (named after Mount Tyndall)-simple and elegant, has a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 elaborate-grade automatic movement with 27 jewels, an hour, minute and second-hand movement, date indicator and 42 hour power reserve. Additional characteristics of The Tydall include a 316L stainless steel case, and tanned leather strap with inner lining of Italian cork. The Tyndal comes in colors Black and Off-White .

Xetum

The Stinson (named after Stinson Beach) is a modern timepiece that has a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement with 25 jewels, water resistant case, and a pushbutton-release stainless steel butterfly clasp with engraved Xetum logo. The Stinson product comes in colors black, off-white and brown dial.

Truthfully, I’ve never used gel, over the years I’ve stuck with leave-in conditioners, but I’m willing to try anything once. Woody’s Mega Firm Super-Hold Gel is an alcohol free formula stored inside a 8.4 fl oz bottle.

The Pros of using the Mega Firm Gel:

Combined with the ingredients of Water, Panthenol and PVP, the Mega Firm Gel promises to make the hair thicker, stronger and last longer. That’s not bad right?

After applying a fair amount on my hair, The real test would be to see if the Super-Hold Gel how well it would fair against my hair. About five minutes later I could definitely tell that the Styling Gel served its purpose. The gel itself is relatively thick. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy. The Styling Gel by Woody’s kept my hair in tact and like it promised-firm. I would say that it’s not bad for a product that’s only $12.95 .

One of the reasons I’m a fan of the Marc by Jacobs Collection is because there’s a nice balance of color and usage of patterns. The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection for Men consists of blazers, cardigans, trousers, plaid shirts, and polos.

There’s something particularly unique about this first piece- I love the two toned color. Beige and Pink Quart Block Tee goes best with a regular pair of jeans or khaki pant. The sizes for the Quart Block Tee range from Small to XL.

The Grey Colour Block Silk Cotton Cardigan by Marc Jacobs is an absolute great piece. It’s casual and plus it’s light enough to wear both day and night. The pattern on the cardigan is also great as well. The Silk Cotton Cardigan has a buttoned front and two small pockets.

Red Carpet Recap: 2010 Grammy Awards

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards was certainly a celebrity packed event. The 2010 Grammys were held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California. Before the show went underway, Celebrities made their way down the red carpet.

Let’s see who arrived at this year’s show.

Usher

Jive recording Usher Raymond is definitely the best dressed man of the night. Usher picked the right pieces and accessories without resorting to being bland.

John Legend

John Legend arrives with Christine Teigen wearing a Gray Tux.

Adam Lambert

American Idol contestant Adam Lambert glams up his black blazer.

Aaron Carter

Aaron Carter was one of the few who arrived to the Grammy Awards without a tuxedo. Aaron Carter is wearing a long sleeve shirt, black vest and distressed denim.

Musiq Soulchild

Musiq Soulchild adds something most male celebrities shy away from-color. The Grammy nominated artist wore a purple tux for tonight’s festivities.

Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon is wearing a suit in a nice chocolate color.

3X Grammy Winners The Black Eyed Peas were also spotted at the red carpet. Surprisingly Apl.De.Ap tux is tamer than usual. Meanwhile Will.I.Am is sporting a camouflage blazer and Taboo’s getup is in a silver metallic color.
