New York Hat Company has a great selection of hats for Men. Their line has a heavily diverse range of hats: from classic vintage wool to military inspired.
The company has been passed down for generations now. Their great grandfather founded the Ackerman Cap Company on Waverly Place in downtown NYC.
Wool Shorty Hat
Their father, Arnold Ackerman, spent majority of his childhood working for his father at the Cap Co company. Through working within his father’s company, he gained experience and knowledge of running the industry-even becoming one of the top buyers for one of New York’s largest head wear distributors.
By 1982 things were looking even more promising because at that time Arnold Ackerman had a showroom W. 27th Street and second story loft-birthing New York Hat Company.
