If you’re a fan of edgy styling with then you’ll no doubt become a fan of Michael Michalsky line, Real Clothes For Real People .

The forty-two year old German designer spent majority of his childhood growing up in Hamburg, Germany. Later on he studied at the London College of Fashion, and ever since the flamboyant designer has created a pretty impressive resume for himself. Michalsky’s big break came when he was appointed chief designer at popular apparel brand Levis. He was approached by Adidas in 95, and in 2000 Michael Michalsky was assigned global director. Together with Yohji Yamamoto the duo launched the line Y-3.

Last year proved to be a great one for Michael Michalsky , with two new licenses an eye wear and manufacture line, Seidensticker, was born. He even launched a boutique in Berlin-Mitte.

For the Spring/Summer collection the colors are loud, funky and eco-friendly. According to Micheal the line was inspired heavily by the 40th anniversary of the Summer of 68 and the 25th anniversary of the German green party.

The Slim Blazer paired with slim fit pant sets the standard for Micheal’s Spring/Summer collection. Additional features include: Kalle Set-In Shirt, Plaited Belt and Canaletto shoe.

Turquoise Jean jacket and Pierre Small Collar Shirt make this one of the highlights from the collection-it sticks out like a sore thumb mainly because of the color. Also featured on outfit is a New Basic Belt, White Leather Glove and MCM Blücher shoe.

The last ensemble is pretty basic, you have your Pierre Small Collar shirt paired with Bermuda Pants and belt. However, it’s the Summer Coat that shines. It’s light, has a great length and looks pretty comfortable if you ask me.

I just found out this Levi’s Button Loop Cargo Pants are going for half the price ! Now at $34.98 (usual $78.00). What a great deal. I love cargo pants as I carry a lot of gadgets and stuff. I normally stuff in a LED light, pen, 2 mobile phones, house keys and car keys whenever I go out. So jeans don’t fit the bill and Cargo Pants are so comfy.
