Leonardo Dicaprio as Hughes in The Aviator

Not only was the cinematography a highlight of the film. The fashion was just as much important.

Being that Leonardo’s character was mostly a perfectionist. It really should come as no surprise that his choices were treated as same.One scene in particular really grabbed my attention. As Leo worked his acting chops on the screen, my eyes were completely drawn to the Bomber Jacket.

There seems to be a certain something missing in mens fashion today. Lack of inspiration maybe? Many critics have been askingthis question for a while now. Are designers afraid to go against the mold? Until someone rises to the occasion and decides to step out the box- Mens fashion will continue to loom in the shadows.

Interestingly enough it’s not just the states were Mens fashion is being overlooked. In India first attempt at Mens Fashion Week. The Dawn reports that over fifteen shows by 21 different were held. Still, the people that attended the three-day event didn’t place a single order.

In a excerpt taken from The Indian Frez Dial, a representative of the retail chain Aza Men remains hopeful telling the Indian:

“We have been retailing garments from most of the designers through our stores for a long time now. So I am here to just give moral support to this good initiative”.
