Cultivating Beauty from the Inside Out

In an ideal world, we would all have a plethora of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and grains at our immediate disposal. They would be free of pesticides, antibiotics and hormones. It would be as easy to go to a drive-through and get a roasted organic veggie sandwich as it is to get a bacon double with extra butt jiggle on the side. Sadly, we don’t live in an ideal world. I manage to stuff what I can in my mouth in between work, baby… the world. It’s often unsatisfying and unhealthy.
I think we all know, whether or not we choose to acknowledge it, that what we put in our bodies has a direct affect on the way our bodies look. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to look young, dewy and perky on five hours of sleep? As a result I am constantly trying to find ways to make it easier for my family to get what we need on the go. One easy way is to make sure I drink enough water. The Kleen Kanteen is an excellent way for me to stay hydrated. That way I can get as much water as I need and continue to fill it throughout the day. I hate carrying around a plastic water bottle or constantly buying one everywhere I go. Plastic containers(even the reusable kind) can leach Bisphenol A over time and I am all about keeping as many baddies out of my system as possible. I also got one for my little bug to use as a sippy cup…genius. Sigg makes some great bottles as well.
So let’s all pledge to increase our water intake. It’s cheaper than microdermabrasion. Who’s with me? Your skin will look plump and healthy. People will tell you how refreshed and well rested you look. You will gain untold riches. Okay that last one may be a stretch.
