Fashion Against AIDS

H&M launched their “Fashion against AIDS” campaign yesterday. The project pairs designers with their AIDS Awareness projects. These collections will be in H&M stores world wide on January 31st.

The collections will include certified organic cotton t-shirts, hoodies and minidresses and will be designed by celebs like Timbaland, Rihanna, Scissor Sisters, Katharine Hamnett, Rufus Wainwright, Good Charlotte, Ziggy Marley, Chicks on Speed, Jade Jagger, Henrik Vibskov, The Cardigans and My Chemical Romance.

Below is a video promoting the campaign!

I think this is a great idea and I love the fact that the fabrics used to promote AIDS awareness are eco-friendly. All the celebs that particpated did so free of charge!

This is so wonderful. I often wonder what would happen if the celebrities used about 1/3 off their status to solve world problems instead of sell perfume but then again – you have to make a living. Lved it though!
